I took a buck during modern gun two weeks ago. Been wanting to get back out with my bow but with five days of rain I'd need a boat to get to my stand.
Who else is still going out? We had someone kill a doe without pictures that was going to shoot more? Did that happen? We need some points! lol

Awesome. Sounds like we still have several opportunities for stacking up points. We should be in good shape to contend. Best of luck to all of you still getting it done.

Dang! That's a tough one to lose, it happens though. It's hard to even see a deer down here right now. We have literally only had 2 frosts and its almost Christmas. All the photos we are getting are at night. We have a 5400 acre lease and have only killed 10 deer so far!!! We did find a 140' 10 point dead in one of our roads. When I got to him he was still warm and limber, hadn't been dead 20 minutes. His hip and back legs were broke; seeing as how we were only 200 yards off the interstate I assume he got hit by a car. When I got there I had to run the coyotes off him and it looked like a war zone in the road for about 60 yards. I came to the conclusion that he was hurt and the coyotes must have attacked him. He fought to the death though. He was a very young deer, with his back hams ate and guts gone, he only weighed 127. He was a good up and comer for sure.
Went Tuesday saw a big 8 to far away though. I took last two weeks of season off from work so I can drop some Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm on the stand . I had the same buck I shot in the shoulder at 40 yards 2 days ago but never got a shot off ! Glad he alive and got pics of him ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wanted to let my team mates know some good news. I recently wrote an article and submitted it to QDMA. I got word back this week that it is being published in a 2016 issue of the magazine. I'm pumped. I'll be sure to let y'all know which issue so you can check it out.
