So this has been my first season hunting with the bow, and it may sound stupid but i owe alot to the BHOD show(and of course the forum). Their tips and methods they share have shortened my learning curve considerably. So just thanks to the BHOD show and hope you guys keep going for years to come. I harvested a doe in our september early season and kept hunting with the bow through rifle season. I put alot of time in and saw no bucks and only a few doe. I had tons of night pictures of a couple very nice bucks especially for my area in Nova Scotia. This was also my last week before i was back to work. We had some warm temperatures all november but finally got a cold front started after a storm the start of this week. Rattled this guy into 5 yards right below my stand with an hour left of light. Made a good shot he only went 30 yards or so. He may not be a trophy to some but i put alot of time into preparation and time in stand this year and i couldn't be more proud of him and dont know what else to say but its sad because start of the next hunting season is a long wait.
Awesome! My first bow buck was about the same size and I couldn't have been happier. Glad to see the hard work paid off! Congrats!
