Nice job on the kills guys. I'll be heading out tomorrow for a 4 day weekend. Thursday and Friday I'll be bow hunting for sure. Firearms season starts on Saturday but if the wind is right for either of my two favorite bow stands I'll take the bow.

I passed shots up on 2 bucks bigger than the one I shot yesterday. Also had a 150 inch 10 point at 25 yards and no shot! Got it on film too. It was an awesome morning and im heading back to the same area today.

I've been hunting hard, just not seeing the big bucks moving. I'm seeing a TON of 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 yr olds, one or two 3 1/2 yr old. I believe it's this hot weather, but Saturday it's supposed to be below freezing so hopefully I can get it done!

Saw 4 bucks and a doe this morning. Saw some chasing and a petty big one. Passed unanimously my old #2 buck at 25 yards broadside. Very good morning overall

Keep at it Sean! Good luck. I'll be in the stand as well looking for a coyote a turkey or a doe!

This guy, now named Dave took of before I could send one. I'm not sure what scared him. I was hunting over a DSD buck decoy. He me move to range him at 40 yards and bailed. Fun hunt though!

On the 15th day of my 18 day hunt I finally got one down. I ended up with ground shrinkage again but I'm happy with him. I think he should be around 125. I'll score him after I get him cut up. Not enough room in my cooler to score one. That'll probably be Tuesday. [IMG]

Just put him on the Scorecard thread. He grossed 121.
Yea I put in some time out there but I love it. It was nice to watch the rut unfold. November is my favorite time of year. Going to try & get more time off next season.
Here's my rut stand. Where it all comes together. [IMG]

Texas but imma an okie at heart.
This is my last day up here in Arkansas hunting. Since it being my last day I brought the gun along so hopefully I won't have to just throw all my tags away. At 8 this morning I look over and see a tree shaking. It was a huge ten point. He was about 100 yards out ( the only rifle I have to use is my brothers 30-30 open sights. )
I put the bead on him and I guess I missed. I have looked all morning for blood and did a grid search. It was the biggest buck I had seen on hoof. He was slightly quartering towards me and is down the ravine from where I was. It might have been a touch farther than a 100 but I couldn't get a good spot to range him.
That was the biggest deer I had ever seen.
Hopefully my luck will do an one eighty and I will get something tonight in Arkansas or in Texas in the weeks to come.

I actually passed this deer twice this year. I pulled trail cam cards 2 days ago and didn't see much bigger than him on there. I also had been hunting a lot and not seeing as much lately and gun season is this weekend. I had made my mind up if he walked by again I was going to shoot him and he did. He is actually a little better than I thought and I'm very happy with him. I'm very blessed. I got some really good video and every thing worked out perfect. Heart shot him at 21 yards and he ran about 30 yards and fell over. I'm going to start editing tomorrow... uploadfromtaptalk1447878593028.jpg

Shane I was looking at the Scorecard thread and your buck hasn't been entered yet. Fitz has a note on your post in there that you need a photo of the scoring breakdown. Didn't know it you saw that yet or not. Just though I'd let you know.
Oh and what about your second buck, you ever get him entered for your 50pts?
