    After a wait of 364 days, the taxidermist called. He's home. Can't say enough about the quality of the mount these guys do. And I believe I've found one of my new favorite poses. Semi Upright Mckenzie 8400 series.

    Thanks everyone for the compliments. I am extremely proud of that deer and I've hunted a long time and had to travel half way across the country to get a crack a deer of that caliber. I think I nailed the pose on him as it really highlights how tall he was and his right side being his strong side with the mass and everything.
