In the tree, I think I hate drizzle worse than rain, it's like someone is just barely pis$ing on your face the whole morning. Wind is swirling and it's s/sw which is weird for here but goof for this tree. I hope my eight is up and working on something but I heard 2 shots over the hill yesterday and he might have been one of them. A doe will work also if she gives me a shot. Good luck all.

Quiet so far.
Sat this stand yesterday am and something big picked me out and started snorting from 80 yards as soon as I started to pack up around 8. Going to sit through 9 and hope I didn't ruin it yesterday. Hoping it's the big boy with split g2s!

Probably going to get down early and get breakfast, give it about 30- and hour

 

Watch out, I screwed myself yesterday with an early exit.

 

that has been a big downfall in my area. swirling winds everyday. and i am hunting ridgetops. just think things would have been better with wind consistency.

I'm gonna throw this bow from this tree!!!! He walked in to 50 and the wind started swirling, he lifted his head up and curled his nose, turned around and went back to the bedding area!!! Insert any curse words you choose here $#**+###*#(*/:!!!!!

Finally got tons stand today and it is a good looking morning light wind and cold so far just free rats and birds but lots of things moving this am so hopefully one comes by soon

Mother Nature has really screwed my days off this year

Rain picked up just as I was leaving. I won't be here long.

 

I think a lot of people got screwed. It has been a lousy rut in my area.

 

cloud ceiling is so low i can see clouds hitting the treetops at my elevation. no movement yet here

 

seems like the rut gets a little weaker every year but probably just me.
