    awesome bucks guys!!! Congrats!
This just isn't my season.. just got back from Western NY last pm... I missed a good one... judged him at 40... right over his back... solid 120" deer. My buddy took a nice 130" 9 pt. I did see a 150 class at 80 yards... what a stud.
Hunting very limited for the rest of the year.. gonna shoot anything legal from this point forward... need the meat. Feeling pretty deflated and defeated at this point.
Nice job on the bucks guys... great doe too!

Good luck Austin (and everyone else getting out!)!

Thanks Joe. I really think I have a black hunting cloud. I did have some opportunities that I blew (Missing buck, then having the husband running it off when it was broadside less than 20 yards away and this past weekend having a hidden doe busting me after I drew back). I'm really hoping that I get an opportunity to seal the deal. I let two four points (the one I've seen three times), the two fawns (three times I had them all in range), and a spike all walk. So hoping that means some sort of good luck for me!!

Crap. That is a BIG buck! Congrats to your Dad.

This weekend isn't looking too nice. Supposed to be 40MPH winds tomorrow and then rain/snow mix Saturday. If it's not too windy, I'll go out. But with that kind of wind, I don't think so.

How much of archery season does everyone have left?

Hey team, final day here in NW MO. I'm live from the stand, filming my buddy because I tagged out on this freaky 14 pt yesterday am. More pics and story to come. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get him self filming. Winds were gusting to 35 mph and he came in cruising. I'm a shoot first film second kind of guy. Rough score 148 4/8

With the addition of Sparrows buck and a couple more does yet to hit the ground we'll be representing pretty well on the scoreboard.. nice work team.!

FYI, I'm good for a doe later in the season for sure. :)

I'm trying. Tomorrow is last day of regular season. We have late season in December. Right now our weather is awful. It's 30 MPH winds with gusts up to 50 and snowing. So we'll see.

Windy as h@#l here... but i'm still gonna get out.. hunting buddy's house.. he has moved and has me hunting... 3 guys called him to ask to hunt there yesterday.. been a very nice 8 pointer crossing road at all hours of the day I guess. I got a pic of him at 6am yesterday am.

Great looking deer Sparrow!! Can't wait to hear the story.

I'm headed out tomorrow morning. We're having a cold front come through tonight. It's called to be 38 degrees tomorrow morning!! I love the cold mornings! Still not cold enough for a frost but i'm just glad it's finally this cold. We've had 50 degree mornings for the past 2 weeks...

It's supposed to calm a bit by morning. Up to 4" snow. It's been sleeting all evening. 26° by 6am. I don't usually hunt the cold, I loose feeling too quick in my fingers. But, if the wind stops...I'll be out. Morning and evening sits.
