I thought big bucks were super smart and elusive ghosts of the woods.

Steve was in deer and deer hunting last year, with his "hula" buck, got its name cause he built a blind from leftover hula skirts from a backyard hula party he threw earlier . im not sure if he hunts with a crossbow or not.

I can assure you that this property where the buck was taken has no fence.

That's an Urban Sprawl buck, shot just east of Columbus about 15-20miles!!! Crossbow Kill........couldn't find it trying to track it......Rented a helicopter.....beat his deer last year by 4 5/8".........Somebody has far more $$$$ than anybody I know that hunts!!! Congrats to him, but I'd think a good track job, and nose would've found that deer, and certainly if they had decent dog it should have been found!!! An amazing story, just a bit of an anti-climactic story.

I agree with doug, a dog should have found him, but I cant imagine what was going threw steve's head after the first 2 hours and no deer, it would be hard to think straight to shoot on that deer, let alone thinking you've lost it. glad he found it.
