Also should probably mention... He is lives in a VERY populated urban area. So he's mostly nocturnal. Tracking him has been hard but I'm narrowing his pattern down and well so is real estate development. Hopefully I find him in the day light!
Great deer, keep on him! Mature bucks are bout to start getting stupid. Let's make sure we take full advantage. Next 14 days should be magical, let's keep the points rolling in fellas.

last weekend I hunted had small bucks chasing does like crazy thought it was really heating up! Hunted the last couple days and haven't seen a deer! Not sure where they are at but hopefully things will pick up again soon!
Hunted this morning and didn't see a single deer, I'm off this coming Thursday through monday, been way warm her in Illinois, supposed to cool off towards the end of the week, got a huge scrape near one of my favorite stands so hopefully the action will pick up some. Seems activity suddenly slowed over the weekend. I'm taking tomorrow (Monday) off to try one more all day sit before I travel this week and next for work. I splurged on a plane tix just so I could fly back home to hunt this coming weekend. Plan to fly in Fri afternoon, hunt Sat all day and Sun morning, and then head home only to fly back out 5am Monday for work again. Ugh. I hope it is worth it. Good luck to everyone.
Well today was a total bust. Chalk it up to abnormally warm weather here lately. All day sit and all I saw were two small bucks. One at 7am and another a little after 8am. That's it. Made for a REALLY long day.
