I was out with my rifle this afternoon. Saw 4 does. I would of shot but I was thinking there would be a buck following....guess what...no buck. Oh well, that's what ya get for letting them go! I'll be out again with the rifle tomorrow morning, hoping to fill a buck tag :D Good luck everyone!

My dad almost connected with pumpkin tonight. He was bumping some does through some brush it was just too thick for a shot .

No deer for me on Saturday.. Duck hunted in the morning, and did a little bit of still hunting/scouting across the road from my house. Found some good sign, and gotta get a camera or two in there along with a stand. Did bump a deer too. Been a slow couple days for my father out in Illinois, seeing some does and small bucks but no shooters yet. I'll be there on Friday!
lots of bucks shot on Halloween around here... some very nice ones too. I only hunted Sat am w/ my daughter... great am... saw five... and....
Passed up a 2 yr old 8 last night. I saw a 150" this morning on my way to school. The bucks are definitely up and starting to search for does. I'll be doing all day sits this weekend, this is the time of year I look forward to the most
I moved a trail camera I had out behind my house a few days ago and just checked it now since it's only about 80 yards off my back yard. Had two bucks, one definite shooter and a couple does on it! All at night though is the only thing... Got word from my dad today, they are seeing deer in Illinois, and one of my buddies missed a nice buck tonight, shot right over its back. I guess it was a real good one too.
Hey Ya'll. I was in WI for a long weekend had some of the best action I've seen in years. Minute late and a dollar short on multiple situations. Another 15 minutes and/or another 20 yards closer and I would of been on a blood trail. I'll be out again this weekend.. Can't wait! Best time of year to be alive.! been so warm. cams have been dead. I hunted last night and saw nothing but mosquitos (in November) and squirrels. leaving tomorrow for western ny. Hunting Fri-Monday. Hopefully I will check in on Tuesday with a big boy. Good luck to all the rest of this week and be safe!

Hey everyone!! Hunting has been pretty awful around here this season. I still have like 400acres of standing corn directly all around my timber. I feel like a lot of the mature bucks are using this as cover. I was hoping to have a crack at a decent buck here in Michigan by now, but I didn't even see one! It's pretty tough hunting around here, very high pressured area. I leave for Missouri Friday, and will be hunting all of next week! Looks like a few days around 60, but nights look to be getting cooler, and the end of the week looks cold. Hoping for some good rut like action!! First time hunting Missouri so wish me luck!! I will be checking in often spending a lot of time in a tree, most likely a lot of all day sits! I am self filming as well.
