I'm in my stand and I dry fired my bow while making sure I had room(never pull back without an arrow knocked). It grinds a little on the pullback now, but that is it. Could my sights have gotten messed up?

If you dry fired it you need to get it checked out at your achery shop before shooting it again.

Ya man sorry I know the rut is in the air but have it checked out before even drawing it back again. This is where having a backup bow shines but I know hindsight is 20/20.

Definitely have it checked out. You can get seriously injured if there's something wrong with it and it sounds like you've already determined something is at least different. Google Image Search "bow dry fire accidents" if you need more incentive

Your sights are the least of your worries right now. Especially considering you are experiencing a grinding when drawing.

DO NOT PULL it back. Inspection doesn't take long and then have a retune done
