Just curious how everything is moving for you guys? I haven't had much luck yet this year. I see a lot of doe movement at first light but nothing during the day. And I get a little at dusk but not much its spotty. Just curious how it is for you guys?

I have a couple mature bucks out checking scrapes the last few minutes of daylight. No chasing yet...

Any updates on deer movement? Planned our trip around the 1st week of November going by moon phase.

Had a few little bucks show up... And their necks were all swelled up.

Saw a small 5 this morning with his nose to the ground. Nothing serious but he was on to something.

Hunted every day this weekend in central Ohio, from Friday to Sunday. Had some of our camera bucks moving and even had some new deer show up. I'd like to think this is a good sign, but the overall movement was spotty. The smaller bucks were obviously more active, but the bigger deer seem to be sticking close to their bedding areas only moving for a short period of time, probably just cruising around the bedding area. Hadn't seen the chasing we all hope to see and a lot of does with out the buck lingering behind them. Heard some big deer have been killed in my area, all have been in the last 30 min of the evening. I think the rut is right at the tipping point, there are glimmers of rutting activity but I suspect more nighttime action. With this warm weather hitting this week and colder temperatures starting this weekend, I'm hoping for the best.

Bucks starting to chase in Holmes and Wayne county. Getting new bucks on trail cameras, have seen several 150 inch deer moving during daylight.
