So I was wondering how well salt licks work. I have used one but it didn't work. Thanks

My friend put one out this spring but they only have half gone. That's not counting the rain washing some of it away. I would stick with a good mineral. I'm going to try out monster raxx and with all of the good feedback I'm sure I will be happy with it.

I've never seen a salt lick get ignored, most mineral supplements are mostly salt...MR seems like a decent product and a better ratio of salt. Deer don't hit salt or mineral nearly as well after summer is over.

In short, yes they work great but it depends on what you want them to do.

YUP... that's why our great state of NY banned the use of them
