Here is the engine. Looking at it from the back. You can see the turkey feathers of the nozzle are blue from the heat. It is on a old military base. Every now and then you find like 50cal brass or a ammo can or a flare tube. Not not a jet. Lol. During turkey season I found a old pillbox. That's exactly what I thought. Lol. Called a buddy that hunts out there all the time and lead the story off with " I have a question, what's the coolest thing you ever found out on Chaffee?" He said "a military tent left to rot. Why what did you find?" "A EFFING FIGHTER JET!" Lol. He called BS so I sent a picture. We are going back to hunt there tomorrow. Lol.
