Does any of you continue to use your bows during the rifle hunting season? Ill probably mainly use my 30-30 in rifle season but A few of my stand locations would be hard to shoot very far from even with a gun so I will probably still take my bow to those locations

I haven't taken my rifle out in the last two years since I got back into bow hunting. I did buy a tag the other night though so I may take it out this year. I'm not getting much time in the bow stand this fall, that may change if it starts raining though.

In MN I don't use a rifle. In WI, I do.

Rifle's not been taken out for several years. Bow gets used for all seasons.

Shotgun here but I continue using bow. I usually put it away for those 9 days though and goose hunt. Wife is going to try slug hunting for the first time this year so I will be with her instead.

Can cover a lot more ground with the rifle, I'll have the bow along and WHEN I fill my rifle tag, I will sit in my old enclosed platform stand. Don't like sitting in my good bow stands with Blaze on.

I will always carry my rifle and my bow after an encounter last year.

First day of rifle season last year and I had the number 1 shooter come to 80 yards... I had my bow but didn't have my rifle.

I just saw the first tv show where the guy had his bow and rifle. His target buck was coming in, hand on his bow, buck turned at 50 yards so he grabbed his rifle and got him that way.
Pretty cool to have that option.

The last couple years, I've been bow only for the most part. We'll just have to see how things go for me this year, I'm contemplating taking the rifle out this year.

I just rarely gun hunt any more....I'll dust off the ML or the .44mag Pistol once in a blue moon but a lot of my set ups are solely geared and designed around bow so not a huge loss. Even my stands where you can see a long distance I still will carry my bow 99% of the time, just personally don't have the thrill with a gun in my hand like I do bow hunting.

I say hunt with what you want and have fun.
