Took a trip to Cleveland OH this weekend. Filled up before we left. 320 miles one way and still had some left. Put 15$ in the tank when we got there for driving around and then filled up for the way back. Just under a 1/4 of a tank when we got home. So hard for me to get rid of the mpg.

Yep, I would still be driving my Tacoma if I didn't need more room and a bigger bed. They definitely get better mpg.

    Nice looking rig!

What steered you away from a super crew cab with a 6 1/2' bed? Turning radius? Parking difficulty? I'll admit that the longer wheel base does change everything. I can't pull off a U turn on a four lane highway. :D

Mainly price and looks. For the features I wanted (Nav, SYNC, Center Console rather than fold down bench, etc,), it wasn't doable for less than about $41K. I hate the longbed supercrew look unless leveled, and I didn't want to have to level a brand new truck just because of cosmetic choices.

Lastly, it would probably have JUST fit in my garage, and would have required serious rearranging to make it work.

Again, nothing against the F150. It was nitpicking in the end.

I didn't take anything as a hit against the F150. I just didn't know what the full size four door cabs are called on the other brands.

Also, I guess we're all different. I really like the way my truck looks and I've never even considered a leveling kit. Heck, I don't even really know what they are. :)

Oh, and the garage issue makes a lot of sense.

    Nice!!!
I just got a 16' Limited with the same cab configuration....White. had to have it ordered as well as they only seem to come in the crew cab... a bit too much for me...
I do like the heated leather seats already have a cold AM sit!

Lucky man! I wanted to go limited simply for the heated seats, but I'm too cheap (my wife think's I'm an idiot). That and the leather may be easier to clean up after the kid.

    Hopefully, I don't kick myself :D

This is my first with Leather... my girlfriend's leather heated seats spoiled me. My daughters are 11 & 9... hopefully they can take of the leather better than when they were young...
    I destroyed my cloth seats...
    We will see.
Love the Tundra... this is my 3rd one.

Not factory with heated seats. Need to step up to a limited trim for that option (not available in the SR5 trim).

I will most likely add Katzkin leather seats with heaters down the road if I really start missing heat (or the cloth gets destroyed). Dealers will install those (or any interior auto shop), and people really seem to like them.

Nice truck, Matt! Don't beat yourself up too much on the fuel economy. I religiously track my mpg on an app called "fillup". I average just under 18 mpg. When I drove my truck to CO last month, I averaged 18.63. Yours isn't all that much less.

I was able to fit a carseat in my access cab tacoma for the first year but once they go front facing, forget it. I just never haul my child in the truck now.

Good to see you around here again, Finch.

Yeah, I hear you on the car seat. I figured it was only a matter of time, so now was a good time since my wife's care is only three years old and paid for now, so this one will be paid off in 3 years, and we will have no payments and two cars that can haul all of us for years to come.
