I shoot Hypos as well. I got a pass through last year at 47 yards. How many times will you shoot an animal with the same blades?
I am going to start hunting a little this weekend. Hope to put a doe in the freezer and points on the board.
Call me crazy but I only use a broad head one time ! I never bought blades ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ya but only third deer with hypos so maybe I start changing blades but I haven't yet ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm using the same blades that I had a pass through with. The blades look perfect. But changing the blades looks fairly easy. I use the chisel tips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm in North Carolina right now but I'll be back Friday and in the stand Saturday ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll be up this weekend in Georgia. Rifle season starts on Saturday, so I'm going to have the fiancé out hunting while I hunt the buck I missed with my bow.
Sprained my ankle pretty bad yesterday during my game so I'm out today ,Hopefully I'll be ok by next weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've been slacking on this thread. Hunted Saturday. Had two different doe groups come in opposite directions around 830. One of the bigger does stepped out in a lane but a low hanging branch prevented me from taking the shot. Called the hunt and then removed some of the limbs that stopped me from taking a shot. Afternoon was uneventful but a camera check on Sunday gave me some hope. I'll be diving into the better spots real soon and will continue to hunt on public to keep some of the pressure off. The public land is tough and hasn't really shown too much. I keep trying different spots to figure out how the deer use the area but mainly focused on finding where bucks like to spend their time. Which isn't easy. I'm taking vacation from Nov 6th through the 11th. Short on the time so hopefully those days will be good. Hope everyone is enjoying their time out in the woods - it'll be over before we know it.
I took my youngest son out Saturday evening. He was home from college for a short Fall break. He took a nice big doe. Not bad for his first hunt of the season. I also took my father-in-law, so we had three generations in the blind. Pretty special hunt. We also had a bobcat walk up to within six feet of us.
