    Thought i had to be somewhere at 9 left the stand at 845 don't actually have to be there until 10... unreal

    An fyi too, that buck that came by was all amped up. Grunting, rubbing trees, making scrapes. It was like it was November

    I've got quite a few 130's under my belt. Made a promise to myself nothing under 145 from here on out.

    Don't drain yourself on a Oct 17th. Get some good food, rest, and head back into the woods in like 4 hrs. Enjoy your time.

    3 doe is all i saw. Field edges, all I have access to. I only wish i had some access to woods, but I cannot complain too much I suppose.

    Weather was working, still thinking it's about 2 weeks early, at least in my part of the world.

    Nice buck by the way! year #6 of bowhunting, still waiting on my first buck. I have had a few chances, would love for one like that to walk by. Congrats man!

    Yeah, I'm back home contemplating the next move if there is one.

    Keep telling myself I am hunting public land, not my go to spot. Still discouraging not even an out of range sighting.

    No clue why this field is not packed with deer morning or evening.
