Hoyt has announced it new lineup for 2016. The Defiant series. The new DFX cam with dual string stops and an optional limb stop. UltraFlex limbs. Ordinarily there brace is 6.75 this year they moved to a full 7 inches on the "standard" models with 31 ATA and 34 ATA like past years. The turbo variant still has similar specs. The riser has been changed completely. Downside for dealers is a new press or parts to press the bows. Should be an interesting line up and I definitely want to put my ones on one.

I can't afford to buy another bow so I am going to stay as far away from my area shops as I can.

I saw them earlier today. I think they took notes from Bear on ugly risers, but I still want to shoot them.

If they feel good, and shoot good, they can be butt ugly. Now if my wife was shooting she would care about looks.

I think that Defiant Turbo looks pretty sweet. I wonder what is the price tag on them. I'm not a Hoyt guy but I think the company should do well with them!

I I had to guess the reg. defiant will run right under $1000 and the carbon model will be $1400-1500

I like the standard one too. Now just have to wait till ATA for the Mathews release to make a decision.

I think the new carbons are the ugliest they've released yet. I do really like the look of the aluminum defiant turbo, but I'm not going to buy a bow that I then have to spend another $200 for adapters for my EZ Press to work on it.

I don't know what you guys are all talking about. I personally really dig the looks the Defiant Standard. MUCH better than last years' offerings.

However, the speed department is a bit of a letdown unless you want to go down to a 6" brace. Either way, I may have to shoot the 34.

Couldn't agree more! If im spending a grand on a bow, its gotta look decent. Hoyt dropped the ball on this one but oh well my nitrum 34 still shoots straight!

i have the 2014 CST and I still love that bow, but I may check out the Nitrum Turbo since my bowshop will have a price drop. specs on new series doesn't seem to beat it, so I'll save the $. well.... I won't do anything until Mathews announces the new line. Still having a hard time beating my ZX7.
