Well was looking forward to my week off of work to hunt but they are calling for low to mid 80's tell Friday!!! Going to try and get out this weekend as much as I can!!!! Good luck with the boss man! Hope he understands. Just the opposite here in Ohio. High of 48 on Saturday and low of 31! Starting to feel like hunting season finally. I'll be headed out this afternoon on a doe mission. Cameras show a doe group at one of my stands at 5:45 for three days in a row. Time to kill! Good luck guys!

Well another close call today. I just can't catch a break. So the cameras showed a doe group coming to this one stand like clock work. I hunt it today and today was the day the farmer decided to harvest the beans on this property. I am set up on an oak ridge about 100yds from the beans. So 30 min before dark I see my doe group coming but today they decided to turn and head straight for the bean field. The farmer was still in the tractor and the deer just kept heading his way. I bet they got within 50yds of him staying just inside the timber. Better luck next time I guess.
Well my last Sunday didn't go as planed. Sunday morning I was going to get my opportunity at a large Doe, was going well, Camera on her coming through shooting lane, I had turned to grab my Bow turned back around and she was starring at me, Busted! Sunday eve, hung new stand where I see them everyday on way home from work like clock work. They didn't show when they usually do. SO 45 min later its going to happen, I get ready but didn't know 2 other were o other side of me, busted again!
I'll be out in the stand Friday morning and this weekend with a cold front finally knocking temps back down to normal!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Few from today's pull. Check out the times on the cams. Hopefully this cold front and high pressure gets the bucks on their feet just a little earlier. 15 min is all I need.
