I got out this weekend and had a couple pretty good hunts. Saw 3 small bucks and 4 does, the bucks walked all around my stand while the does stayed just out of range. I was looking to shoot a doe this weekend, I guess they got the memo.

I'm gonna head out this afternoon to try a new stand spot. Probably only does will show up here until rut. Going to honey hole tomorrow morning.

Got out last evening. One fawn running out of range in woods. Had a crappy night and thought it was allergies...wrong. Hung a stand today for gun season in a month and was completely exhausted and sore afterwards. Hoping to be healthy by the end of the month for the magical time of the year for us deer hunters!!! Good luck guys.

Had some good help dragging my deer out tonight. My brothers little girl was right there trying to help. She held the legs for me while I gutted. She's a trooper. No points for the board but a nice big doe for the freezer :)
