"He needs another year" " Let him walk" and I really do hate the "smoked him". I mean the first 175 times I heard it is fine, but when I hear people saying it and they clearly gut shot a deer it just makes me cringe.

I know "Smoked him" has been mentioned many times, but "smoke city" is even worse.

While not a phrase, the obviously fake cut scenes of the hunter seeing the buck drives me crazy. Always a fake startled look, followed by "big buck, big buck."

"We're not sure of that shot so we're going to let him sit overnight"

Well hell..if you would have waited for a decent shot angle, maybe you wouldn't have to wait overnight.

I hate when people use the term "harvested" over killed..

Call it what it is, we are killing the deer. We aren't harvesting them like crops. Just my opinion.

I do hope you're being sarcastic friend. In no way jealous. I just don't find the shows interesting or informative. Some are entertaining. My favorite is HB. It's well produced and entertaining, just not informative.

There are so many shows out there these days and they just feel so carbon copied.

Again. Not jealous other than I'd love to be able to afford the outfitters and property they pay to hunt and film on. Then again maybe not.

"let him sit over night" esp in the summer time. If you made a good shot and have good blood go find the deer before it spoils. Now when its cold I get it. Hate wasted deer meat when the deer was only 100 yards away dead. "smoked him" is getting old I agree lol People shoot deer in the butt and are like smoked him haha

The smiley ;) is an indication that the comment is meant as a joke or a sarcastic comment.

I thought so, but ya never know about some people...

Truthfully though, I bet a lot of these guys do work extremely hard at it. But they work extremely hard at the production end of it, the sponsorship part of it, etc., not so much on the actual hunting end.

I know for a fact I could not do the promotional part of it, and I sure would not want to make a job of hunting either.

I can understand these guys that are paid to hunt and have shows where they aren't self filmed and they rely on a camera guy when they say "shooter" or "shooter buck" they have to be on the same page for the shot. But a self filmed guy shouldn't have to say anything but thwack lol

Never been a big fan of "set", as in "I put up a new set". What's wrong with "stand" or "blind"? Also annoyed with smoked him, BBD, and shooter buck. The phrase "Bowhunt or die" seems overused by some once they string all the takes together to make a segment. You end up hearing it an awful lot by the end of the show. Entertaining show though.
