Well Won't get out till Wednesday
Maybe not at all this week, get the place set up for a reunion for the family, got my trailer winterized and hottub done today. Clean ,clean ,clean for the next few days and get the yard looking good for one more time for the reunioun. Keep the wife happy, went and shot tonight, could only shoot 8 shots due to me working out dailey for the last 3 weeks, dang sore mucles I didn't know I had ,LMAO. I just hope in the time of mercy I can draw it!!I'll check in from day to day to see how were doing. Good luck team!

Stay positive things always happen for a reason..

Going out tonight to setup my big mike blind on a trail that the deer showed me they like to use going into the bedding area in the mornings. Saw several use it an want to hunt it but there aren't any trees to hang a stand in.

You got a shot at him early in the season, he'll be back, just don't over use that stand! They get silly during the rut!

It is actually the wife's blind. She wanted one she could stand up and shoot out of. Got it for her birthday in August of last year... Its really roomy. We hunted out of it last year.

Plenty room for us both, and the camera/tripod.

    Hey Guys,

Sorry I haven't posted much lately but I have been following along with every post. I have the last week in October and the second week of November off and plan to hunt hard both of those weeks. I'm not sure which week I will go west to the hills but I will be on one side of the state or the other. I'm going to try to go out Sunday night if I can sweet talk grandma in to watching her granddaughter.

    Good luck everyone!!

Finally saw my first DEER this morning. This has been the most unbelievably difficult beginning to a year ever. I'm not giving up anytime soon though. Hunting season is a marathon, not a sprint!

There's just too much food that's spread out right now. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year though!

Siman, that's a tough break. You've gotta remember to take your time!

Didn't get out to hunt today but did put in some time at the farm. Was able to check 4 trailcams, refreshed 4 mock scrapes, fixed a stand and got a new stand hung! Will be back at it tomorrow then off to Memphis and Louisville for the weekend. Gonna get to check out the Bass Pro Pyramid all day Friday so should be pretty cool!

Was able to get back out for the afternoon hunt but didn't see anything. Had a bad storm roll in about 40 minutes before hunting time ended so had to pack up early. Actually got back to the truck just as it really hit. Won't be back out in the woods till probably Tuesday morning now since I am heading on a 9 hour road trip in about 3 hours. Not having any sleep this is going to be a real long rough drive. Good luck everyone this weekend not sure how much time I will have to be checking in but will if possible. Hopefully someone will finally send me one of those awesome text messages I have been waiting to get!

I was planning on getting out tomorrow evening and Saturday afternoon. The threat of severe T-storms will cancel tomorrow but a cold front is coming through for Saturday!
