This guy lives in the same town as I...Brookings SD. Word on the street is that the land owner is pressing charges for tresspassing and also has a restraining order against the hunter...but that's just the word on the street, and is worth as much as you paid for it.
Nice to see some fellow South Dakotans here! This deer has been all over the media lately...a once in a lifetime deer for sure!
Wow that deer is unreal!! Congrats to the hunter!! On the side note with the comments about penned deer, it's easy to get caught up in the questioning and doubting on a deer of this size because there actually ARE idiots out there screwing penned deer antlers on dead deer and some shooting deer from ranches and trying to pawn them off as free ranging deer. They're the one's who ruin it for us all, especially the one's who bust their a$$es like this guy to make it happen.
