Nice work Justin! Hopefully your good luck will rub off on the rest of the team and we can put some more deer on the ground.

Fitz said one doe. Maybe I'll party hunt and see if I can get a buck.

Party hunt? You don't have a buck tag, Shane?

No. In my zone it's either sex and a antlerless bonus. I didn't get a bonus right away so I had to use my either sex tag and now I only have a bonus for a doe. If someone is willing to give up a either sex tag in a party hunt I can get a buck. I didn't expect to get a deer this early in the season and I was going to get a bonus later. I'm going to get a bonus for another doe but sadly it won't add point to our score.

Awesome, thanks for getting us some points Justin. I'm not in the stand this weekend. Decided to take a weekend trip into the boundary waters for some fishing, duck and grouse hunting. Having better luck with the fish and ducks then I was with the deer... I'll be back in deer woods this week though.

Great job. We're building a little bit of a lead but it seems like everyone is getting deer. Hopefully the teams in second and third don't catch up to quick. Let's see how long we can keep this up.

I opted to not bring in my camera gear which was a HUGE mistake! It was raining with this storm before we left. Once we got to the property it had cleared up and was just a windy overcast day! Regretting my decision very much so right now. Could have had some good footage, saw 5 does and with about 30 mins left before sunset had a 2.5 year old buck come in. I shot my doe at 4:12PM.

Well my chances at getting a buck have went down to less than 10%.

We have a bigger lead than I thought. To bad I won't be able to add more to the score.

Congrats on the doe man! Looks like Team 31 is off to a great start, let's hope we can keep it up. Bucks are going to be falling soon. :tu:

I managed to sneak out last night and film my buddy Tommy shoot a nice big doe at about 5 pm. Felt great to be in a tree even though I wasn't hunting. At this point it looks like I'll be back out next weekend. Got a busy week at work and I'm gonna save what little time I have off for later this month. Should get a pair of sits in at home on Saturday and a pair at our lease on Sunday. Can't wait to get out and chase some antlers around.

Starting to see scrapes really open up these last few days so it's time to start moving cameras as well.

Thanks JZ! Just wish I hadn't opted to leave the camera gear in the truck! Rain stopped once I got settled in and turned out to be a great day, minus the gusts of 28-35 MPH winds lol. But I feel ya though with chasing bone around man, unfortunately for me our rules/regulations have changed some this season like I have said before. So now I'm waiting around for the 16th to get here so we can start hunting the bucks, because the 1st through the 15th is Doe only! I'm seeing rub lines blow up too and more and more scrapes being hit now also....I'm thinking about this in a positive light with by the time Oct. 16th rolls around things should be heating up nicely!

Ok so, so far this year activity has been very low and I have been baffled as to why. I have a mock scrap set up and have been filling it regularly. Today I went to purchase more and happened to flip it over to read the back of it and come to find out it is buck urine with doe and doe in estrus. WTF no wonder things have been so slow it's early Oct and there are no does in heat yet this crap is putting it out there. The deer most likely have been spooked off by it for now. Why would they label it all season usage and also label it mock scrap with estrus in it. I'm pissed
