    Nope, coon hunting tournament had every hotel booked solid.

    My guess is you hit very forward on 1 lung and came out the brisket. Single lung deer can go ALONG ways.

    Not allowed to look on neighboring property and now have ruined my property for the weekend so yeah I think I'm done

    Holy crap it's happening quick tonight. Literally had just got into bale blind, set everything down and was gonna step out to answer nature's call. Got out looked to right of blind and there's 2 doe already feeding in wheat. Used my ninja skills to get back into blind and they're still there. Interesting first 20 mins to say the least.

    Here's my setup for today. Have a treestand fairly close that almost sat in but the wind is a little gusty and being as I've slacked off in preparation for the season it's the only one haven't checked over yet. So decided against sitting there.

    Good luck to anybody else out today and stay safe.

    Back in the same stand I hunted last Saturday. A bit concerned about overhunting, but it's an East wind only stand and we rarely get those. Crawled up at 4:30 and saw this guy five minutes later. Now looking for the shooter I saw on the opener [​IMG]
