Same here, just not going to be that cold though, mid to high 60's, and we will be getting hit with rain today throughout the weekend! Not sure how well this is going to be for self-filming. Depending on how bad it is i'll see what the game plan is.

What can I cook with ground venison? I have a lot of it and don't know what to cook besides burgers and tacos.

I like spaghetti but I'm not crazy about it. If it's made I'll eat it but never had spaghetti with venison so I'll try it.

I agree - tons of use for ground venison. I typically make chili, tacos, spaghetti, burgers or stuffed peppers. Chili is definitely my favorite. There's a million different ways to make it so I like to try new stuff almost every time. Plus you can easily freeze it save for later. I personally like to cook up a few big batches each year and then freeze them to take with when I go hunting on the weekends. Makes for a great afternoon lunch or dinner. I use my FoodSaver to vacuum seal the bags then I just need to put them in a pot of boiling water to thaw out and heat up. Works great. :tu:

A few hours of work left today then I'm headed out on doe patrol this afternoon. Does have been hitting a nice green hay field that has some acorns dropping along the edges and the wind is right. Hoping for a good outcome and a few more points for the team.

Awesome, good luck JZ!!! Sitting behind this desk right now is driving me crazy!!! My buddy whacked two doe this morning...one at first light and another about 35 mins after that in one of our spots! Really wish I was out there today!!! Hopping the weather doesn't end up too bad this weekend though with the hurricane moving in cause I'll be on doe patrol as well!

Operation Doe Patrol was a success tonight. 25 yard shot right at last night. Double lung, never made it out of the field. :tu:

My points contribution is maxed out for this year my friends. It's up to you guys now!

I thought you could enter two does if you do not enter a buck

Negative. One buck and one doe. You can enter a 2nd buck as your "doe" but he only counts for 50 points.
