My 8 year old nephew has become increasingly interested in shooting a bow. I have him in a beginners archery class, and he loves it.

What I'm wondering is how do I find out what his draw weight should be? I'm wanting to buy him a bow for Christmas, but need to know this info. so that I get him the right one, and one that he can grow into. I'm not going to break the bank on one right now until I know that he is really going to stick with it. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help

I'll 2nd the apprentice 3. It's very adjustable. You can get it 15-50 lbs or 20-60 lbs. Draw length is adjustable from 15-27".
