Has anyone ever used this cable slide? or is it all hype!? Here is the link --> http://www.sausa.com/product.php?id=32&category=47
I've got one on my Assassin. Works well enough I suppose. The only reason I put it on was to replace the crappy stock cable slide...it definitely reduces cable wear. Did not make any discernible difference in terms of noise or speed.
I have one on my assasin as well. It works fine and does operate smoother then the stock slide. No sticking or which did reduce some noise.
Got one on my bow, same experience as above: Works as advertised, it is better than the stock one. It did not turn shooting my bow into an orgasmic experience or grant me 3 wishes. It holds the strings and slides back and forth nicely. :D All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure - Mark Twain
I asked about replacing my cable guide a few months back and everyone recommended a Saunders. I haven't purchased it yet but I will soon for my Bear. Everyone tells me their Saunders helped stop the noise, gave a smoother pull, and lasts for years.
So? every is in consensus, that the stock PSE red cable slide sucks. I might choose this cable slide for me...
We're big fans of the saunders hyper glide cable slide The red pse cable slides like to eat cables some times
