I have been using a Muddy Safeguard for a few years now. I was going to replace it this year but like it so well I couldn't convince myself to change.

I've been using a Muddy Safeguard and love it. Light and easy to use. You don't even know you have it on.

HSS flex is by far the best harness on the market IMO

I use the tree spider speed harness. I keep hearing HSS but if it aint broke im not gonna fix it. The Tree Spider is fast and easy. The only thing is when you crouch down then stand back up the leg straps kinda get hung up on your pants. You have to resituate

Another vote for a rock climbing harness. Would never go back to a hunting style harness again.

I decided to try a rock climbing harness this year. I just got it a few days ago and cannot believe how light and comfortable it is to wear. I still need to give it a shot in a tree and test hang in it but so far I like it better than my old HSS

I had the HSS TreeStalker but my Muddy Safeguard just got delivered today. I haven't even gotten a chance to open it yet. The HSS was just a pain to deal with. The vest-style really isn't for me. I went with the Safeguard because I wanted the binocular straps in the harness.

Please get a harness asap. I have use cheap ones before then used the HSS for a couple years and it wasn't bad. This year I switched to the Muddy Safeguard Harness and have loved it so far!

Highly recommend a test hang. I haven't been rock climbing in a few decades but if the harness style is the same we used my one concern would be the lack of chest and shoulder straps which help keep one vertical, head up, if they take a fall. having not looked at the modern gear, your harness might not present that problem.
