My 15 yr old shot his first buck with his bow Sunday evening. He has been sitting by himself and shot this buck the 3rd time out.
He has taken much bigger deer with a gun, but this is his first buck with a bow. image.jpg image.jpg he actually started gun hunting at 6 yrs old.

He had a 128 inch 8 passing through pretty often but he decided to take this one. He hit it a little back but we recovered the next morning (rage rocks). He will get a chance to arrow several does so he will be ready for next year. Man, what fun I'm having with the boys.

Man, that is awesome. My dad quit deer hunting when I was a little shaver. I didn't start messing around with archery until my 30's. Congrats to both of ya. No better memories than that.

Thx everyone. He appreciated the responses. I hope my 22 yr old tags out next. Zac and I are still out there. Zac had a135 inch 9 pointer under him for 40 minutes but he has his eye on another 140 plus. The 140 just went nocturnal last Saturday. Zac is really calm and knows what he's looking for and has some great gun kills. He has no problem going the season without shooting a buck.
