Finally seeing some decent bucks on camera. Hopefully with the temps dropping they'll be on the move a little more.

I hope to be in a tree tonight. Even though there hasn't been a whole lot of daytime pictures, I'm hoping they get on their feet early with this cold front moving through.

Just North of Nashville

 

Well season is open here in MD but the area I hunt opens a week later to lessen pressure. Come Tuesday I will be hitting the woods for a week!

 

We're on the board, I got a doe yesterday afternoon. I will get after a buck now

 

Got home from my daughters soccer practice and there's two does 60 yards from the house. Snuck in got my bow and made it out in time to watch them casually walk off. Funny thing is that my wife seemed more excited than me.

Awesome job! Just saw it on the score card. Remember though, the rules say you have to have TWO photos of you with the deer. Hopefully Fitz will still count it but we will see. It says absolutely no exceptions.
I will be in a tree Friday morning. Hoping to get off work about 3pm Thursday, go home and go straight to sleep. Wake up and leave about 11pm Thursday night and make the 5 1/2 hour drive and be in a tree at daylight. The 1 hour time change makes it 6 1/2 hours up there by the clock.

 

I don't envy your sleep deprivation. I hope you are well rewarded for your endeavors.

Hey ngabowhunter, he says he needs a second picture with the bow in it!

 

I put a buck down this morning, the CT Season opener. 7 minutes into the season I had this buck at 9 yards. He ran about 25 yards. I still have to score him and I'm waiting for additional pictures to be sent to me.

If we can get the doe that ngabowhunter shot and that buck, then we will jump ahead of some folks! Hopefully I will add to it this weekend

 

I'll try to score it asap. I'm gonna do a euro mount so I gotta score it without making a mess. I have the second picture, as well so I'll post that to the scoreboard when I score it.

 

Sweet. Just make sure you post it right the first time. You only get one attempt with your antlered deer, if you mess up then that's it. 2 pictures with you, your animal and your bow, date and time, and scoring break down for the buck.

 

I am pretty sure I have another pic to put up, I will have to get in touch with my daughter she took the pics with her phone.
