    Congratulations! Elk are the toughest animals I've ever pursued -- by FAR. Amazing that they can cover that distance -- without leaving much blood, if any -- with a shot that good, isn't it?

    Was shocked how far she went even though I drilled her. I guess that big of an animal going straight down a mountain on that much adrenaline is the only thing that makes sense to me.
