I am looking at for a new bow. I would really like a new Matthews but the price is out of my range. A local bow shop has a PSE EVO Dream season for sale for $500 with all attachments. Good buy or should I wait?

I think he is asking too much. The bow is a 2013 model so its already 2 years old. Everything I've read, the bow sold brand new for $850 I would see if he could come down $100. $400 seems like a more reasonable buy.

What attachments are on it, and are they what you would want on a bow or would you be looking to replace them anyway?

I'd say hang on and wait till a 2nd hand/used Z7 comes up, the Mathews Z7 is a great Bow and might be in your price range.

If you shoot it, and it feels good go for it. It may be an older model, but it still IBOs at 345 fps, and shoots great for me. I use mine for 3D, and hunting. Coincidentally, shot another nice Alberta mule deer with it yesterday. Lancaster archery is still selling them for $650 bare bow. http://www.lancasterarchery.com/pse-dream-season-evo-compound-bow.html Not sure what accessories come with it, but they'd be a bonus.
I should also add, the DS EVO, was last made in 2012, when I bought mine. In 2013 PSE came out with the Dream Season DNA, and earlier this year, the Dream Season Decree.
IBO's for the 3 bows are

    EVO 345 fps
    DNA 352 fps
    Decree 355 fps

The Decree is being sold for $950, the DNA $900, and the EVO $650. THe EVO new (but older model) with accessories sounds like a good deal, for $500

thank you....and your welcome. Let me know how it goes. The EVO has aggressive cams and is not for everyone, but sure works for me.
