    Scowd,

Yeah without digging out the scoring sheet, 146 and change rings a bell. We always get our deer cementum aged each yr as well he was a 3.5 yr old. That's what we thought he would age but hard deer to pass when you've been passing deer the two years prior

Nice job, I wouldn't have passed him up! It's nice to know the age too. I'm always trying to guess the age as well. Good luck this year.

I'm not gonna lie, season opens Saturday and I am no where near ready. Based on lack of potential shooters from my cams this summer I may skip on opening weekend and the low 90's heat.

Texas but imma an okie at heart.
IMG_3933.jpg This is my first shot at 40 with my 30 yard pin. I think I got her all dialed in for center shot. I am still going to do french tuning and hopefully I won't have to do much broadhead tuning. Since I am shooting killzones they usually fly just like my field points.
Just recently bought a gps so I am excited about that! Hopefully sunday i can get out and see if i can find any newer rubs to put my cam on and maybe put out a mock scape. Season doesn't start in Texas until october 3.. TOO long! Should be in stand on september 26 in arkansas though. Well see!!

I am looking to make my final purchase of things i want/need for the season. Some climbing sticks. I am holding out for the XOP ones but if they don't release them soon I will just buy lone wolf and get some stealth strips for them. But I am really hoping they come out soon. With the sticks, i will carry them with my climber so that I will be able to get into any tree if I can't find one to get in with my climber. Around here that is pretty hard to do but it happens.

Before the season starts I plan on buying some more blazer vanes and reflectching all the factored fletched arrows to put the spine on the bottom of the shaft for better flight.
I hope everything is coming around for you guys!

If deer season were tomorrow, I could walk out the door confident that I am prepared for any circumstance that comes my way. come September 15 I start using no sent shampoo and really making sure everything is perfectly in place.

Sweet looking rig Andrew! How do you like that elite? I'm thinking that's my next bow in a couple years.

My pse DNA is getting worked on. I will be picking it up tomorrow. Can't wait to get it back. I got the cams timed and the slight cam lean taken care of. It should be good.

one of my hitlisters from last year finally made an appearance, now just to get him coming around during shooting hours. He was on camera on 8-30 & 31 both times around midnight. Finally have a buck to get me pumped about hunting this season. Today was opening day but decided to sit it out, Temps topped out at 95 today.
