I finished wrapping my Millennium Stand last night. Went with what CJ suggested. I wrapped it with paracord. I started with 50' of this light green and black. Thought it would be enough. I mean it only has to go less than 5 feet around the platform edge. Did a fancy wrap so that i could pull some cord out if I ever needed too. Pull a branch back, use it as a pull rope, etc.....
about 7 hrs and 200' of cord later I'm done.:lmao: Wow. It looks awesome but it was way more of task than I would've thought it would have been. Wrapped it so tight that my plan for undoing it failed. Which I'm kinda glad because there is no way that i'd want to retie it especially in a tree. Ive got an extra 40' still attached that I'm just gonna bundle to the stand that way i will have for the above intended purposes. Thanks everybody for their suggestions.

Its getting close so I want to make sure that we can indeed shoot the bonus deer first if its a doe right?

Yes a doe can be shot at anytime. Doesn't have to be a buck first.

I haven't been very active with my team and for that I apologize. Work has been crazy busy. So anyway I finally got my cams out yesterday (usually have them out all summer) and I'm getting stoked for some killin. Good luck to all that get to start early :tu:
Gotta wait till October 1 here

Well. Feeling like crap this weekend which is probably a good thing. Don't really want to be out in this heat and humidity trying to hunt. Don't have a lot of stands and don't want to ruin what i got by stinking them up. Supposed to cool off in a couple weeks hopefully. I was hoping to get some points on the board early for our team. Oh well, It'll cool off soon enough.

Hope you feel better brother. We have plenty of time to put some points up so don't worry bout that. Keep the stands in good order is a good thought.

I moved my new stand to a much better tree and checked the camera over the mock scrape. No giants yet but got a decent buck showing up. It's a long 19 days to go...

Those are some nice bucks Chris. Pretty first pic. What caught my attention besides the buck sticking his tongue out at you was the Huge roman nose on the second to last pic. Man that thing is round.

He's got a messed up nose. It's an old injury that he had last year. Not sure what happened to him.

Dang, He got jacked. Looks like Balboa. Pulled that whole upper jaw backwards.
Looks like he ran smack into something at full tilt.
