Found this 10 yards off the edge of the field next to one of my cams (it's about a 5 yard by 5 yard area)... Can only imagine what other parts of the field looks like. I thought it might be a bear doing it, but I've got 0 pictures of them and had apples 5 yards from it a few weeks back.

Might explain the lack of pictures lately. Can't wait until they start harvesting!

Coons and beavers do a lot of that too.

Or cows if they get out, I'm pretty sure a lot of our bucks are living in the corn too. I have pics of them going in and out and my buddy has pics of three big bucks in the middle of the corn field that I don't have in other places on the farm

Might be coons, but I haven't got any pictures of them in some time. I've seen stalks torn down here and there, but have never found something like this so assumed it was deer.

Good to know that coons and even turkeys will do that.

Yeah groundhogs will make a mess, if you ever watch Growingdeertv episodes, those guys shoot them out of their food plots because they can do a lot of damage. One of the BHOD guys thwacked some in a recent episode too if I recall.

Could be from corn snakes or flying monkeys.

I wish I could have had aerials of what beavers did to one of our fields a few years back. About a 5 yard wide path 50 yards into a field and then it opened up to about a 25 yard radius circle. Just like something you'd see from a scary movie about crop circles.

Deer don't usually maul corn they just feed off it in my experience. Bears on the other hand... Well, there is a reason the farmers cut a swath around the outside first then post shooters on each corner as they harvest around here!

These things are food plots worse nightmare...especially smaller plots. They can make you think the deer are really hammering it....when in actuality it is a couple hogs. Things devour greens.
