This is my main target this year, he's evaded me for 2 years.

That's a sweet looking buck for sure!!! I've got a few decent ones around - long as something didn't happen to them this summer... Don't have any trail cams out so last I've seen of the bucks in my area was late fall...

Here's a few pics from my area...

sorry guys. I've been crazy busy trying to catch up after Wyoming. Fun trip. I browsed through the previous threads and got caught up. Some nice deer options out there for you guys! I got nothing right now for trail cam pics. Checking some this weekend hopefully that changes! I cant believe we changed our name!!? Now we are just another flock of sheep following trends of the rest of the teams! All kidding aside I really don't care what the name is. Lets all just kill some deer and win this thing! It's getting close

Hey guys, I anted to share a little lesson I've learned in my few years of bowhunting and archery. My main goal every season is to strive for perfection and learn as much as I can by making mistakes and learning from them. Just like everyone right? Thus far in my Bowhunting and archery career, I've been struggling with peoples advice. Why? because so many people tell me so many different things. (Don't worry, there is a point to this.) Anyway, I've struggled with trying to balance all the information every hunter I know gives me. I've been listening to a few guys about how to improve my form and such things like that. I admittedly have very bad form. All the advice that everyone gives me is very helpful, and it works perfectly 100% of the time...... for them. The lesson I learned over the past couple weeks is to take advice, try it, and then go from there. A guy was trying to help me with my form and ultimately improve my consistency and accuracy. I tried doing all these things in front of them, and I shot terrible. Why? maybe because it was new to me, maybe because I'm 14 having shorter arms, or maybe just because it just doesn't work for me. Whatever the case may be, I went home and started shooting "my way" again. And I've never shot better. I regained not only my accuracy, but my confidence. So the lesson learned here is to do things the way that works for you. Whether that means good or "bad" form, If it works for you go with it.

Well Shane you definitely aren't used to shooting like that so its hard to be consistent because shooting like that is not natural to you. To be accurate you must do the same thing every time. Given the information you received was correct about your form you might try to change it after season is over because you have the entire off season to get used to it. I definitely wouldn't make any changes to your form this close to season though. Especially if you are shooting good.

I totally agree sean... and Im still always open to new advice, but I just found that when I shoot like that, I get shaky, jerk the bow and kind of lose confidence

Been extremely busy this last week but did manage to pull all 3 sd cards yesterday. Man was I disappointed, no shooters and the biggest buck on camera might go 70 in. Not sure where my bucks from last year have went but hope they make a return soon or this could be a rough year hunting and possibly going back to public land. Season comes in Saturday so I'll probably check cameras Thursday to see where I will be hunting.

Hey Tim just watched the video of the buck you killed last year. What was his gross score? Trying to work on my scoring. I'm guessing in the 140s.
