Its BS in the way that your harming you're self for no reason. There is valid science behind the ozonics system but its just not worth it IMO.

I would assume you would do the closet outside?

We are talking about pretreatment of hunting clothes in an enclosed space, not ozinics in the field. You can run a closet unit in a garage or camper or cabin without any fears of breathing in too much ozone.

Yes pre treatment in an area that is rarely visited would severely limit the exposure, but any exposure isn't good for you.

The ppm is so low I don't think it would be harmful unless you were enclosed with the system.

Yeah I really think we are being over cautious if that's your worry. Im sure we are exposed to much worse things on a regular basis then a little ozone twice a week for a month.

Yeah you get exposed to more ozone after a good lightning storm than you will pretreating your clothing.

What is the source of this valid science behind the ozonics?

I don't think I would ever put an ozone machine inside my house. The only time I use ozone is when I am detailing a smokers car that they are selling. Killing the bacteria that lives in the headliners and other clothe parts of the car is really difficult. Ozone does wonders. That's why I would have a hard time using it. It is poisonous to everything that lives below it. That why is car detailed use it to KILL stinky bacteria in smoker cars.

Sota, Do you spray yourself down with any scent eliminator after you treat your gear?

Lil late to this conversation, but I was just wondering...could one of these generators, like the whitetail R' purge 50 for example, be used in my truck to eliminate any scents in there prior to leaving for the woods?? Figure that, combined with running one in a small closet with my clothes/gear in it, should be a really good combo. Thoughts??

Nothing works 100% when concealing scent, so anything you can do to help prevent odors should help. I think they make an auto version that will plug into the AC outlet.

Why not just purchase the hunters closet from scent crusher? It sounds like it would work perfectly for you. It would allow you to hang your clothes and also has several shelves for other items such as boots and backpacks. It has a 20yr maintenance free ozone generator.

Looks great and all but also a bit more pricey than purchasing the $35 closet from Ikea that others talked about. And then adding an ozone generator for around $50. Thanks for the recommendation though, does have everything you would need..

I don't, I use the Scent Crusher products and don't feel the need to spray down after treating the clothes.

I'm going to claim stupidity here. Can someone post a pic of their generator. I'm not exactly sure what to look for. I love the idea and would like to do it.
