Muzzy. Tried and true. I used them years ago. Had no problem with them. I am using NAP HellRazor's this year and last year.

I haven't used fixed blades for about 13 years. I used to shoot NAP thunderheads (3 Blade). I had issues with them planing to the left at long distance, which is the reason I now shoot mechanicals. I'm currently shooting NAP killzones. They have 2 inch cutting diameter and fly very true, even at 60 yards.

That's the info I'm looking for how true of flight and all. Last I used Slick Trick fixed broadheads, they were 4 blade and they seemed true in flight but they sounded louder, maybe that's just me. Also I thought maybe the three blade with lining them up to match the vanes are better than the 4, or maybe quit being ol school and finally try mechanical ones.

I shoot fixed blades from my Chill X, and my favorite is easily the QAD Exodus. They are built strong, and designed to be extremely accurate. Mine fly great, and hit with my field points. Plus, QAD is a great company with excellent customer service should you ever have an issue.

I want to go to the exodus as well but the price is just too steep for me. I'm more of the economy shopper I guess. my 3 blade muzzy's fly great but I tried 4 blade muzzy's once and hated them.

I'm a Slick Trick fan too. Years ago I tried muzzy and had flight issues. They were all over the place. I went to Slick Tricks and they flew awesome. I tried Montecs last year but they were about as sharp as a bowling ball, though they too flew well.

Most people will suggest Slick Tricks or Muzzys. I have used both and they are both great heads. I give a slight edge to Slick Tricks. I find they group better with my field points. For me Muzzys have required a little extra work broadhead tuning.

So is there any advantage/disadvantage with the 3 or 4 blade broadheads? I think Slick Trick are all 4 correct?

More blades more cuts, the Slick Trick Standard 100 grain I use is 4 blade 1" cut. They fly great and zip right through deer.

You can tune your bow to get either to fly like field points. About everyone who bow hunts knows muzzy and you can't go wrong with them or a slick trick both are tried and true heads

QAD Exodus for me. I shot Muzzy for over 10 years, around 2012 I had issues with ferrels bending on the MX3 so I switched to QAD and have not regretted it. These are excellent heads, very tough, and really fly nice.

I used to be a huge Rage 2 Blade fan but then started using NAP 2 Blade Blood Runners last year....no complaints here

125gr Ramcat. They fly well. Penetration is awesome, and they shoot exactly as my field points. Tuned my bow with my field points and was hitting bulls eye, then pulled out my arrows with the Ramcats and they hit exactly like my field points. In fact I actually cut one of my fletchings off when the Ramcat sliced it. Like I said, they hit exactly where my field points hit.

I know Muzzys are tried and true and there is a huge debate among fixed blades and mechanicals. But for me, its Ramcat all the way.

Sorry to post same thing twice, I came back to this thread and didn't see my first post so I posted again. Now I see it. If an admin would delete the first post if there is a problem.. Thanks

I shoot 100gr Solid Broadheads and I love them! They are a 2 blade design with 2 bleeder blades. You can get them in .5 bleeders and .75 bleeders and both seem to fly great for me.

    .5 & .75 bleeders

I've been shooting the slick trick magnums and they have been great to me, getting pass thrus on all the animals. Prior to the slicks, I used the muzzy mx3s they are great. The mx3s were way easier to tune than the regular 3 blade muzzys. Overal I like the magnums the best, they had nice sharp blades out of the package and I didn't have to adjust anything on my bow. They flew exactly like my field tips @70 yards. I'm really happy with them and sticking with them again this yr. I also like to shoot 100 and 125 grain BHs and the replaceable blades of the Magnums fit both the 125 and 100 head.
