New to the forum and just wanting to see what people are using. I'm not trying to start any arguments just curious is all. I my myself use both depending on the game. I know its a touchy subject lol!!!

I use a mechanical but feel that if you use mechanicals you go with an arrow over 425 grains and have plenty of KE out of the bow arrow combination.

I use both. Fixed on lighter setups and expandables with heavier setups. In No Cam I shoot a 350 grain arrow and a fixed blade. In MR6 I shoot a 450 grain with expandables.

Only fixed for me. Too low of a draw weight (49 lbs) for me to consider anything else.

I use fixed 3 blade muzzy 100 grain, really thinking about trying a mechanical because of the lack of blood trails I get with the muzzy, even though I have killed all 4 deer with muzzy with short tracking jobs but not much blood at all.

I switch back and forth between Rage Hypodermics and QAD Exodus. I strayed away from the Rage after having one deflect inside a doe i shot. It was a clean kill but not the wound channel i wanted... With that being said i got 6 QAD Exodus and can't put them down. They fly as good as if not better than the rage, quieter, tougher... With their great performance its a no brainer for me to shoot the reliable QADs, and from what i've seen with friends deer they do some serious damage!

They are talking about a 400+ grain finished weight arrow.

You're 100 grain chisel tips are fine!

I've been killing whitetails (and some good sized black bears) with mechanical heads for 20 years. My arrow weight has always been under 400 grains and have no issues getting pass throughs.

Both...I'll be running primarily slick trick magnums and grim reaper 1 3/8" mechanicals
Total arrow weight 413 gr or maybe 420gr if I decide to shoot a lighted nock.
I have a few Rage 2 blades from years past that may see hide as well.
I have complete confidence that if I do my part they all will do theirs with equal end result complete pass through and dead deer.

I go with mechanical. Never had issues with them and I find them very effective.

NAP Killzones - also used g5 fixed before. I just prefer the flight of mechanical broadheads.
