I have been happy killing pigs and rabbits with my three blade Rage expanables but want to try out the 2 blade with a 2in cut, how have they worked for some of you?

Couple with an arrow over 400 grains they are deadly even against bone. They have never let me down.

I have shot the regular rage 2 blade heads for years and last year switched to the hypos. Never had an issue and massive damage. Looks like you threw an ax through them.

I used them when they first came out, then moved to Hypodermics. 44 animals killed with Hupodermics, definitely top 3 head in my opinion maybe the best.

Used the regular, then Chisel Tips, and now Hypos. Really liked them all and love the Hypodermic.

I've been using the 2 blades almost since they first came out. LOVE THEM, huge holes, lots of blood, many pass thrus; and on a couple of bad shots, it still penetrated deep enough to kill.

I've actually twice had the registration people asking me if the deer was shot with a gun, due to the big holes.

Below is the entrance wound from a buck I shot at 35 yards.

Just to add another question to this thread. What would you say the minimum draw weight or speed would you say you should have to use the Hypo's

The rage hypodermics are the way to go! Last year I shot a 140" buck at 15yards facing me went through both shoulders blades and turned the pump house to jello! The entry was 2" and the exit was 4"+ he went 20 yards and was dead before he hit the ground.

At the bow shop they recommend 50lbs or more. If your shooting at the 50-55lbs area I would think a heavier arrow would be good but I'm no pro so you would have to ask some of the pros on the sight!

Thanks man, I've mentioned it in the past but everyone doesn't see the post etc. I'm shooting about 54 pounds at 242 fps with a 392-395 grain Easton Axis arrow. I think it comes out to about 52-52 pounds of KE. I'm either going to go with the Slick Trick standards or the Rage Hypo's. Last year I hunted with the 2 blade rage chisel tips but I never shot anything to know if they work.

I've been shooting rage 2s for 5 yrs now. I've never lost an animal. Every deer has went down in 50 yards or less with blood trails you can follow at night with no light! I'll never shoot anything else.

Same here. Been using them since they hit the market and they have worked really well for me. I am a Huge fan of the Shock Collar they use now. The Hypodermic is my Favorite of them all!
