Who here has a short Draw length and what drop away do you use.
My girlfriend has a 24" draw length. I was interested in seeing how the trophy ridge revolution would work. but i was hesitant on the very low price. well whats $20 right? It arrived in the mail today. I set it up, Bench tuned it to a T, server the bus cable, and set the timing. I must add that my servings are starting to look OUTSTANDING(better than bass pro).
Well. the fletching didnt clear. got a bit of a kick to the arrow. I tried adjusting it in every way possible. then after about 15 arrows of frustration. The darn thing blew up. after racking my brain as to why i was having so much trouble. I came to the conclusion that the way the housing is, and way it operates . it just didnt have the time to clear with the short draw.
What is a good drop away for short draw. I dont like the idea of someone i love having to be subjected to a whisker biscuit.

Agree with the Apache.....26" dl shooting 70 lbs. Guessing the extra weight I shoot will wash out with your lady's shorter dl. I tried a different drop away, but is would not drop fast enough. I sold the other rest for $10 at the 2015 gtg.

thanks for you quick response guys. I threw on my old trophy taker drop away on her bow, and it seems to work nicely. but we will look into the apache in the near future.

I also forgot to mention when I gave my sister my old riot I gave her the apache too. 5 years and still going strong. She can put up 4.5"-5.5" groups at 40 yards and thats decent for a beginner. She has a 25" dl and pulls about 40-42lbs.

I have a 26" DL and 48 lb DW. I have the trophy taker smackdown pro and it works beautifully for me.

We have had nothing but issues out of those revolutions. Avoid at all costs!

I have a 26.5" draw, which is fairly short. I'm using a Fuse drop away and it has been perfect.
