I am looking to plant our first food plot this year. I am looking to purchase seed to accomplish this. Other than ordering online from somewhere like biologic where do you guys purchase seed?

Wherever. Fleet farm, fleet supply, ****s, bass pro, cabelas ect. Walmart would be last choice just because I don't care for walmart that much.

E-Bay for exotics my local feed mill for the rest. I honestly have the best luck with a mix of red, ladino clover and alfalfa mix all from my local feed mill. I can buy 5 pounds or 50 anything in-between.

I like greencoverseed.com they have lots of stuff and fair prices and the folks over there are awesome to work with. You can buy any amount and make custom mixes that they'll mix and bag for you. They are primarily cover crop specialists but most of it crosses over for plots. They also have a neat mix calculator that will tell you how the mix rates as far as N fixation, soil organic matter building, etc...if you're into that sort of thing.

Really like this site. I'm going to definitely check it out next spring. Thanks for sharing.

Also, I used OutsidePride Clover King for my foodplot and had really good luck with it. But clover is pretty much all they have for foodplots. They don't get into brassicas and such, at least not that I remember finding.

You bet. I've worked with them for a few years now and they've always treated me right.

Thanks guys for the responses. I really appreciate it. Getting started with plots has been quite a chore this year but looking forward to reaping the rewards.
