Today I finally got a rainy day here in central mn and I got out to check trail cams when I got out to my first camera I saw coyote scat on my mineral site and it absolutely reeked of dog piss in the general area so I swapped the cards and when I got home I had a bunch of pics of a coyote coming in and urinating on my mineral. Has anyone ever had this happen before? I did go back out with a shovel to remove the old mineral and bury it. I put a new mineral block on a big old stump about a foot off the ground to keep old yote from pissing on it. Hoping to see this little devil come sept!!!

Its a scent post alright even after burying it i could still smell it. Needless to say the deer have not been using that site... Hoping in the next couple of weeks I get something decent coming in to the new mineral site as that spot has been a real honey hole for me!

Weird, have you always used this spot for a deer mineral site?

Trust me it did that cam has been soaking for a while now. And yes I have used that spot for almost 3 years now. It's an 80 acre plot a mile outside of a small town in central MN here and I've never even heard a yote in there before this year...
