5'11" 195 isn't even like its a large number my man. I get the macho ego of her being a woman but unless you have some serious background training in fighting, don't be delusional... She'd destroy nearly any man without a lot of training. And that's okay lol. I would have my arm broken in an arm bar more than likely lol. I am clueless about grappling and takedowns when it comes to fighting so if she went that route I'd be toast shortly after the bell.
My dad was a professional boxer, I'm not inexperienced with fighting. I think the tendency is to project a little too much wonder woman fantasy to Rousey in this matter. She may be a prodigy in the female world of fighting but it's a little comical to me to see people seriously overestimating her against men with any skill, giving up 4" and 70#...that's just silly. It's not ego...it's realism. I'm sure there's no shortage of men this day and age that she could trounce given the femininity of most guys.
She would get beat by most top UFC male fighters, imho. However... She would beat most of the off-the-street male "fighters." Their mixed martial arts background gives them such an advantage. Many of the UFC fighters can break your tibia with one kick and act is if nothing happened. They're just so quick, strong, and the technique is spot on. I think they make it look easy which sometimes makes it hard to appreciate the skill involved. Like watching all professional athletes, really. Boxing and punching skill is only going to take you so far. Won't say you wouldn't get lucky and land one on her that could take her down (happens all the time in mismatched UFC fights), but my money would always be on her :D
Perhaps if he trained you to do so with his experience (if he had experience walking on a plane) Pretty stupid comparison to be honest.
So is plotting how you would defeat a woman in the ring. You are aware of weight divisions a 195 pound fighter is not going to fight a 135 pound fighter. This whole conversation is stupid.
For the regular guy off the street, sure she would most likely immediately arm bar them. But lets not get carried away with thinking she could beat a single male UFC fighter in her weight class.
"Everyone has a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth" However, it's not the boxing that scares people, it's her grappling. She's been doing it since she was a child, making submissions as natural as walking. You may have a chance if you have a reach advantage, but don't get too close.
I'd last as long as I would other women probably. When I was younger an less experienced I wouldn't last very long, though. It really depends on how good she is. We are talking about how long we would last in bed with her right?
I didn't create the thread, I answered a question. Yes I'm aware of the weight...as I mentioned in my posts and in fact in paragraph 2, line 2 of my first post. I agree the entire premise is silly but I didn't ask the question...I answered it and I didn't make a nonsensical comparison, you did. It didn't work and now you feel silly, don't blame me. She may be able to beat some men her own size but she's not going to be able to overcome much disadvantage in size in a crossover match...that's just the way fighting generally works. Tate gave about as much as she wanted, imagine a guy that's twice as strong and has better pain tolerance. It's silly and in that at least we can agree.

On this note.....anyone notice the transformation Rousey goes under with and then without mouthguard....I think she's gorgeous but something happens once that mouthguard goes in.....
i would tie all my limbs together and wear a neck brace so she can't grab a limb or choke me and just hope I can head butt her before she punches me. Haha.
