:jaw: Wow! a broadhead! I've always suspected something pointy at the end would be more effective.

I've used several from both camps successfully, and believe that any, if properly set up, will work well. I've settled on the Spitfire Maxx though for the last 5 years or so. Most every deer is down within 40yds, and between the regular Spitfire and the Maxx, not one has failed me yet in over 30 deer with them.

I've used big cut mechanicals for the last 3 seasons and I love them. The first ones I tried were 2" cut NAP Killzones and they worked really good. The next two seasons I used 2" Swhackers and will not be switching. They fly great and they really rip up animal. Shot my biggest buck this year at 41 yards slightly quartering to. Drove that arrow right through that shoulder and he was dead in seconds.

100 grain Slick Trick Magnums for everything but turkey, 100 grain Gobbler Getters for turkey...... That being said, as you already know, practically ANY broadhead on the market will get the job done if the placement is right, therefore strictly a matter of individual preference............
