Calling in wild pigs?

Does anyone know if calling in wild pigs works? The reason I'm asking is because I have bushpigs on bait but they usually only come in really late and I was wondering if calling them in would work?

 

Not a real common practice but it does work occasionally. Not regularly enough to make it worth it in my book. Good luck.

It works for locating them but usually they don't come running. No idea if it would work for bush pigs as they are kinda shy too right?

 

Although I've never done it, I don't see why it wouldn't work. I have a few hog distress sounds on my Foxpro and they sound great. Let us know how it works for you

 

Yes they are very shy. I will try it out with my fox pro and see how it goes and will let you know.

 

use a predator call like a dying rabbit,i have seen them run in looking for a easy meal!
