Hey guys I'm looking into getting a new tackle box or bag. I also want to get a smaller backpack to be able to pull certain trays and put them in the pack while wadding. What is everyone using and what would you recommend?

Plano Speed Bag with 3600 series boxes. Holds 3 to 4 boxes and interchangeable depending on what your fishing.

I have the Okuma Backpack that holds 4 boxes and has plenty of storage for coats or lunch.

Im just wanting something for "everyday" fishing, I think.I have a decent amount of lures and plastics. I don't know how much that goes into it. Would you guys recommend a bag with interchangeable box rather than a big plastic box with compartments. I like the idea of having different boxes to be able to pull so I can put them in a backpack and wade in the river.

    interchangeable boxes are best!

No need for bass tackle when your going for trout!

Very true. The more I look at that backpack you mentioned the more I'm liking it. Lol

I use the same one in the Large size. Works great for what I carry on the ice and would work for soft water as well.

I can fit 4 boxes in the lower area plus a worm bag, planner boards, and a hoodie in the big pocket.

If you want a good tackle backpack for the money this is the one. Okuma has another one as well for a little more.

Nice, how heavy is your bag? You think I'd be able to just wear it for awhile while wading?

Weight is hard to say, when I have my jiggin stuff in there it feels like 30 pounds.

While wading it should be good as long as you dont walk to deep, I took mine trout fishing last spring and it worked fine.

Mine sits 4-5" above my waist when I have it snugged up, if anything just the bottom would dip in the water occasionally.

Okay sounds like it should work out. Just have to wait for payday then I'll probably pick one up.

If anyone else has other options though feel free to let me know.
