Found this poor doe with her eye covered in ticks. Hopefully she makes it.

Sometimes I wonder how an animal survives all the stuff they face.

    That is rough!
I had one on yesterday's card pull that wasn't that bad but was still rawnchy looking. Pics over the next few days showed her improving as the ticks bloated and fell off.

I was actually thinking about this since yesterday, I wonder if placing salt blocks with sulfur in them would help deer deal with ticks? You know the yellow salt blocks at the farm supply store.

I have 5 trophy rock/ Lucky buck sites out but I might have to go check out this yellow block to see if I can help her out.

I have no idea if it will help deer deal with tick problems or not, it's just a thought I've had for a while. I've also read that feeding garlic laced feed works. I wonder if a person could make a garlic and sulfur laced mineral block and keep the ticks off of them. It'd be funny if it actually cut down on the tick population.
I would imagine the ticks have a more profound impact on a deer's health than most people think. If nothing else it has to be a stress factor.

I doubt anything can be done on any significant scale.
