OUCH!! That was comical and well written but I can only imagine the pain in ripping out a stitch...get well soon!

Hopefully you're not one of those who's nasal polyps return every few years. My uncle is in that unfortunate category and he almost bled to death after a mega sneeze busted some polyps and was spewing blood from his nose until he went into emergency surgery.

I'm glad some of you were able to share in the comedy of my story.

I'm actually doing really well, helped build some concrete forms yesterday and bent up a bunch of rebar. I can actually breathe better right now than I have ever been able to in my entire life, and my sinus cavity is still packed with gauze.

Matt, I'm supposed to go in on Wednesday to get all the gauze packing removed, so I would assume it was then or they were just supposed to dissolve.

He said that it should be a one time deal. The problem was that my sinuses were so swollen that no air or anything could ever get in there to help heal, so the infection just kept living. I'm sure there's always a chance it could come back but my doctor said he didn't see that being a problem in the future.

They are pulling the guaze out for you???? My doctor told me to do it at home. That was one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever had to do.

That's a funny story! Did you tell it to your doctor?

Just reading it hurt me so bad that I am going to have a drink for you! Dear Lord.

My brother had this done years ago and it improved his breathing and overall health a tremendous deal. Sounds like you are in for the same positive results. Good for you!
